Jerry Serowik

Senior Managing Director, Head of Cohen & Company Capital Markets

Jerry is Head of Cohen & Company Capital Markets, in addition to leading the Capital Markets effort. He brings over 20 years of investment banking and capital markets experience. Jerry leads all aspects of CCM’s capital raising efforts, including SPAC IPOs, PIPEs, private capital markets and partners with the coverage teams on SPAC advisory.

Prior to joining CCM, Jerry was the Head of SPACs and a senior member of the equity syndicate desk at Wells Fargo Securities, where he spent 11 years. Jerry led all aspects of the SPAC business at Wells Fargo, including origination and execution of SPAC IPOs, advising SPACs and targets as part of the business combination process and managed the PIPE business. In his role on the equity syndicate desk, Jerry has led hundreds of capital raises in the public and private markets.

Prior to the roles at Wells Fargo, Jerry started his career in Equity Capital Markets at Bear Stearns and held a senior role in the equity capital markets group at Dahlman Rose.

Jerry has an undergraduate degree in Economics from Columbia University and lives in Rye, NY with his wife and two children.
