Jerry Serowik serves as Head of Cohen & Company Capital Markets (CCM), where he oversees the firm’s capital markets and investment banking platforms. Jerry leads all aspects of capital-raising and advisory efforts, driving strategic initiatives across SPAC IPOs, PIPEs, and private capital markets, while also partnering closely with coverage teams on SPAC advisory, business combination transactions, and broader investment banking mandates. With more than 20 years of experience across both disciplines, Jerry plays a key role in guiding CCM’s growth and delivering comprehensive solutions to clients.

Before joining CCM, Jerry was Head of SPACs and a senior member of the Equity Syndicate Desk at Wells Fargo Securities for 11 years. In that role, he managed the full lifecycle of the SPAC business, including origination and execution of SPAC IPOs, advising SPACs and targets through business combinations, and leading the PIPE business. He also executed hundreds of capital raises across public and private markets.

Jerry began his career in Equity Capital Markets at Bear Stearns and later held a senior role at Dahlman Rose. 

He earned his undergraduate degree in Economics from Columbia University and resides in Rye, NY with his wife and two children.
