Gen Takahashi

Vice President, Investment Banking

Gen is an investment banking professional specializing in M&A advisory, SPAC advisory and capital-raising. At Cohen & Company Capital Markets he has advised companies on strategic transactions and access to the U.S. capital markets, including cross-border transactions involving companies across North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America. Prior to CCM, Gen was with Guggenheim Securities, where he executed M&A and capital raising transactions. Prior to his finance career, Gen served as a Combat Engineer Officer in the United States Marine Corps and as a Special Agent in the FBI, where he focused on counterintelligence matters related to the aerospace and defense sector.

Gen holds an MBA from Cornell University and an LL.B. from Keio University in Tokyo, Japan.
